Biography
I am an NRP-DTP funded PhD student working in Anthony Hall's group at the EI. My research involves developing and applying machine learning techniques to model complex phenotypic traits using publicly available omics datasets in plants. My project focuses primarily on investigating circadian clock function and variation in Arabidopsis, different brassica crops and wheat.
Prior to starting my PhD, I completed a machine learning research fellowship at the EI funded by the Alan Turing Institute. I also undertook a computer vision based Msc by Research project and a Bioinformatics Summer Internship at the UEA. These experiences allowed me to advance my skills and passion towards data science and functional genomics in plants.
