I am a PhD Student in the Hildebrand Group based at the Quadram Institute.
I started my academic journey by finishing my BSc in Computer Engineering, finding my interest in molecular biology and genetics afterwards. I have done my MSc on fungal plant pathogens and phylogenetics, finding my calling for wet-lab.
Currently, during my PhD in the Hildebrand Group, I am investigating and developing novel protocols for unknown corners of microbial communities. I am fascinated by epidemiology and am pursuing to learn more about the dynamics of the gut microbiome.
