Gerry Reilly

Gerry is the Interim Director for UKRI BioFAIR project - creating a collaborative virtual infrastructure to support the sharing and management of life science data. 

Prior to joining EI, he had been a member of the Health Data Research UK Senior Leadership Team with a focus on technology strategy, however most of his career has been spent in industry in executive and technology leadership roles at IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation, Stewart Hughes Limited and Sony.

Gerry is also a Visiting Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Brunel University, a Fellow of the British Computer Society, Chartered Engineer, and Chartered IT Professional.  Outside of work, he is passionate about the Korean Martial Art of Taekwondo, participating as a coach, official and veteran competitor.
