Nanopore sequencing for interactive, real-time metagenomics
Unleashing the potential of real-time, clinical and environmental nanopore sequencing applications.
Contact details:
Ned is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Technology Algorithms Group (Leggett Group), where he leads the development of the front-end for MARTi (Metagenomic Analysis in Real-Time), an open-source software tool for real-time analysis and visualisation of metagenomic sequencing data.
He completed his PhD at the Earlham Institute, where he developed innovative tools and methods for nanopore-based metagenomics and real-time data analysis.
Ned also holds an MSc in Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement, as well as a BSc in Biological Sciences, both from the University of East Anglia.
