Biography
I joined the Earlham Institute’s Technical Genomics Group in June 2020 as a senior project manager. I work in the Project Management Team, where my main role is to advise scientists on the sequencing services we offer, to help with experimental design and to provide accurate quotes.
I received my PhD from the Swiss federal Institute of Technology in Zurich working on the topic of bacteriophage diversity in collaboration with the Nestlé Research Centre. I then joined the Institute of Food Research, where I worked for many years in the field of transcriptomics studying how enteric pathogens adapt to their host environment to cause disease. More recently, I was teaching industrial microbiology at the University of Salerno in Italy.
