Single-cell sequencing at Earlham Institute
Developing and applying new technology to decode life at single-cell level.
Dr Iain Macaulay is a Group Leader in Technical Development at the Earlham Institute.
The Group’s research focus is on the development and application of new approaches for integrated sequencing or “multi-omics” of single cells and low-input genome samples.
Such tools allow genetic, epigenetic and transcriptional heterogeneity in diverse biological systems – including bacteria, plants, and animals – to be investigated at cellular resolution.
