Earth Biogenome Project
A global partnership to sequence the genomes of all lifeforms so we can better understand and harness biodiversity
I am a protistologist working on sequencing protist genomes as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project in the group lead by Neil Hall. I’m an experienced microscopist and photographer/videographer, producing visual content that documents microorganisms and their behaviours for use in film and TV.
Prior to Earlham I worked on protist genomics at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, and completed a PhD on the protistan parasite Trichomonas vaginalis, where I studied the role of small RNAs and Transposable elements in the T. vaginalis genome.
